About me
I've been a postpartum doula for over two decades, and I still get butterflies before every first visit. There's something sacred about stepping into a family's home in those early days and helping them find their footing.
My specialty is the "what now?" moment. The baby is here, everyone's gone home, and suddenly you're supposed to just... know what to do? That's where I come in.
I founded Flame Keepers in 2015 because I believed one doula — any of us — is stronger when held by the others. Twenty-some years in this work has taught me that the families who do best are the ones held by a whole community, not a single helper. Our collective is that community, for us and for the families we serve.
I offer practical support (cooking, light cleaning, sibling care) and emotional support (listening, normalizing, celebrating small wins). I'm also a certified lactation counselor, so I can help troubleshoot feeding challenges.
I believe the postpartum period sets the tone for your whole parenting journey. Let's make it a good one.
